Crystal Tip:

Pink amethyst is a relatively new find from Argentina. It was fist discovered in an amethyst producing mine and it has created much speculation in the mineral community since coming to light. Many would refuse to call it amethyst, and some even think it’s “fake” but it’s very real and is here to stay! Pink amethyst gets its coloring from high concentrations of hematite in it’s crystalline structure; because it is living in an amethyst mine it retains the name “pink amethyst”.
